About Samantha
Samantha is a twenty-something year old woman who is passionate about various topics related to human meaning and fulfillment. This is including but not limited to creativity & self expression, intellectualism, self-development, relationships, love, humanity, sociology, psychology, identity, religion & spirituality and more. She graduated with her BA from Virginia Tech in the majors of 1) Religion & Culture and 2) Political Science with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies.
She is especially passionate about helping other people value their voices & self expression to advocate for both their individual selves and for others. She especially values self development in an ecological context where individual and collective self development are understood in how they are affected by social conditionings and different social systems. She aims to use an intersectional and liberation-based lens in how she empowers herself and others.
Samantha currently works at a bookstore and is applying to programs to either become a therapist or sociology professor (ideally, she would love to have the opportunity of both!). She likes investing her time in reading, writing, making videos, exploring new places, learning about different religions & cultures, spending time with friends, being productive in coffee shops, spending time outdoors and exploring new places.
She is passionate about lifelong learning both inside and outside of the classroom, through being both a teacher and a student in life. She hopes that her work inspires others to connecting with themselves and others.
