COFFEE SHOPS

Coffee shops— especially local ones— are my favorite third spaces. I love the sense of community they bring, and the homey vibes of being something unique to specific geographical locations. It’s special to feel coffee shops belong somewhat collectively to everyone; it’s like a home away from home. Somewhere where there are opportunities for you to explore different parts of yourself— a focused, introverted persona as you lock into a creative or working flow as you work independently; an extroverted, personable version as you make friends with fellow regulars and baristas; a mix of both.
